Firehose of Bespoke Widgets

The economics of creating software have changed so much with the arrival of LLMs that it is now possible to create purpose built software very fast and very cheap. There are many implications, but one made me wonder today specifically: With open source software, the idea is to publish, share and encourage reuse, but what about these one-off projects? Will we see less software published, and more staying hidden? And in case these one-offs get published, will that be useful? What will then happen with LLMs trained on this firehose?
